Praying God’s Promises: The Book of Romans

One of the most life-changing ways we can use the Word of God is to pray Scripture.

The Word is reliable, tested, pure, and true. Praying God’s promises is a great place to start, and the book of Romans is filled with countless details about what Jesus has accomplished for believers through his blood, given for us.

Press into prayer with the Word consistently and watch the promises take root in your heart and renew your mind. Because of what Jesus has done you have access to the Father, to come before his throne in your own secret place of prayer, agreeing with what he has said about you in his Word.

The practice of prayer

Each declaration below is so rich and multi-faceted that you could just pray only one of them for weeks. I’ve listed the scripture references so that you can go beyond just reading what I’ve shared and open your Bible to read the Word yourself.

May you receive the grace to stay with God in prayer!
